Corrective Exercise Specialist analyses a client's movement patterns and identifies overactive and underactive muscle groups and compensations. I'm an NASM certified Corrective Exercise Specialist with extensive experience in corrective exercise programs. I enjoy working with physiotherapists and osteopaths to help rehabilitate clients back to, and often exceeding prior fitness and/or strength.


It's about looking at the way you move and how it's been impacted by your environment, lifestyle or prior injury. I can assess and determine the root causes of imbalances that lead to issues with posture, balance, and movement. That's where I really enjoy the challenge of working out how best to structure a workout. From working in concert with your osteopath, chiropractor or physiotherapist over a serious issue or one to one with you on a area of more mild concern, it's all about working out smarter and more prescriptively. 

Workouts should support your efforts to be stronger and healthier and give your body a reason to adapt to exercise. A proper assessment is essential to getting more work done and fully benefiting from your workouts. Based on initial assessments we carry out, which show us how your body prefers to move, we will create targeted flexibility and strengthening strategies to optimize your movement and body control. I individualise your flexibility and preparation routines to make sure your body is moving the best it can, so it gets the most from your workouts.
